Here is a series of short, interactive stories about our place in outer-space. Three separate narratives walk through a spectrum of astronomical realities and concepts that progress in depth and complexity, accompanied by dynamic and interactive visual commentary. The website/interactive book was written, designed and developed during my Honours year as design research, exploring alternative methods of representing the complex realities of orientation, time and place. It also explores the potential of storytelling to draw a tangible connection between obscure concepts and a lived, human experience. Here exists as an entry point for those out of touch with our celestial reality, and hopefully a stimulant of cosmic place and perspective. Read Here or the project dissertation (desktop only).
